February 7, 2012
FSU-Teach has been mentioned by FSU's president as a top program at the university. In response to a legislative request, The Florida State University President, Eric Barron, identified FSU-Teach as a highly ranked program at the university. Criteria used to identify the programs included strength and innovativeness of the curriculum, job placement, student satisfaction, undergraduate experiences, and student selectivity.
FSU-Teach, noted on the “honorable mention” list, is the only new program in either the top 10 or honorable mention lists. All other programs identified by the president were established at least 10 years ago, and many are more than 20 years old.
